Coal Seam Gas

Coal Seam Gas has operating for more than 25years for safety reason in coal mines. CSG was extracted in front of mining to reduce the methane in the air and reduce the possibility of explosions. The gas was vented. At some mines it was realised that the methane was a source of energy and could be used. They installed modified diesel engine generators to supply all the mine power.
